Boracay & Cebu Guide
Borocay one of the most stunning tropical islands in SE Asia, with a stretch of white sand beach that is hard to beat for families. On Cebu Island, bright colors and ritual dances distinguish the popular Sinulog festival, a celebration of the child Jesus, patron of Cebu City.
Cebu is an easy to get to holiday location, with many International flights and carriers flying directly into Cebu airport just a short-taxi ride away from the resorts. Borocay on the other hand is very much for little adventurers, though many young families can be spotted by it's turquoise waters (especially from Hong Kong) the journey involves, plane to Cebu or Manila, smaller plane to the islands and a boat ride out.
Borocay Island: Is just a speck off the northern tip of Panay, its size though is in no proportion to its fame. The island is just 9km long, and only 1km wide at its narrowest point. White beach, 4 km of white powdery sand... The northernmost section – Station 1 – has the widest beachfront. This has the best (and most expensive) resorts and hotels. The center of White Beach is Station 2. People come here to eat, shop, and party. If you’re looking for a quieter area, then Station 3, the southernmost section, is for you.
