A room with a view in Bali’s Munduk...

The views are so vast they say that on a clear day you can probably see Saigon! If you like a bit of hiking in a spectacular spot then this is the place for you and your family. Munduk Waterfall is impressive and a spot that is little visited, despite being perhaps the most impressive accessible falls on the whole island. It's not all about hiking though, there are plenty of other activities too...

It's cool up in the clouds...

The central mountans have an eerie beauty: These hill-top mountains feel like a world away from the hustle and bustle of South Bali. Planning a trip here? If so, most hotels and villas can arrange a driver for you. If you take a driver and wish to stay overnight, your hotel or villa will usually provide accommodation for your driver at no extra charge, how lovely...

The picture postcard Temple and Lake Bratan

One Located next to Mount Bratan and Mount Catur is the second largest lake in Bali. The important temple (one of the two major water temples in Bali) of Pura Ulun Danu solemnly guards the lake. The resort area of Bedugul offers excellent views of the lake, as well as a number of water activities such as parasailing and swimming. For the environmentally conscious, renting a rowing boat might be more your thing.
