Once you have paid for all of this separately at the airport you may actually find this option quite cost effective!
Pay As You Go Lounges
Just turn up and pay a fee. You can a buy a package of 2, 5 and 10 hours. The fee paid covers hot showers (including toiletries and towel), all day food and non alcoholic drinks, internet access, laptop charging facility, comfy sofas, newspapers, magazines, TV and a secure left luggage area. The rates start are £33 for two hours, £48 for five hours and £58 for ten hours. To have a lie down you can pay for three hours for a private resting area,hot meal, non alcoholic drinks and shower facilities and this sets you back £50 and then £8.50 per hour thereafter.

Free Childrens TV Lounge
OK the above option may not work for everyone but fear not there is a CHILDRENS TV LOUNGE. Comfy Chairs and childrens TV on tap. These lounges are dotted around the airport at Gates 1,15,41 and 60. On the Departures Level Terminal 1.
Tiny Tip: Children are welcome and under 2 there is no charge but after this they are full price so do your maths and see if it is worth it for your family pod!
Had enough of lounging around? Then head to the play areas to have a play.Locations are between Gate 23 and 25 in Departures Terminal 1, Level 1 and Between Gate 509 &510 Departures, Level 1, North Satellite Concourse.
Dream Come True Education Park
This is where your little ones get to try out a number of professions. They get to dress up and role play at being anything from a Doctor to an Air Steward. This is suitable for 3yrs-16yrs. This one is a bit more pricey at £27 per child, £13.50 per adult and £6.75 for Senior citizens. It is located on Level 6
Sky City Nine Eagles Golf Course
A golf course may be a bit much to tackle but there is also a driving range which the children may find a lot of fun. It also gets you out of the airport but not far! It is located near Terminal 2
Aviation Discovery Centre
This is one for tiny pilots. This tells you a bit about planes and has a flight simulator, not overly fancy but worth whiling an hour away. Located on Level 6
Check the website to see what films they are showing, you may hit it lucky with a child friendly animation!! . Located at Terminal 2, Level 6.
Tiny Tip: Go Plane spotting, great bit of entertainment. Located in the same area as the Imax cinema, pay for viewing tickets at the entrance and then catch a lift up to the viewing deck, to watch the planes coming and going!
Shopping (that the children will love!)

Baby Stroller Rental
3 hours minimum rental charged at £12.65 and then £4.20 for any subsequent hour. You have to pay a £42 deposit or leave a credit card. Strollers have to be pre ordered at or call +852 2261 2727.
Get rid of your bags! Struggling around carrying bags and children is not fun! Get rid of half the bulk by putting the bags into storage it could even free you up enough to adventure outside of the airport if your stopover is a long one. Open 5.30am - 1.30 am 7 days a week. The hourly cost is £0.84 and Daily cost is £10.15, (be aware oversized bags will be charged a bit more.) It is located on Level 3, Terminal 2
