Kuala Lumpur Guide

Hot and over-whelming: are the first words that spring to mind when I think of any SE Asian city with babies in tow. KL was probably not our number one choice.... well, until recently.
These days there are numerous action packed adventures to be had & some of their parks are to die for...That said my baby needs a slower pace, I know when I travel with mine she simply enjoys a dip in the pool, a mini munch on whatever’s on the menu, a play in a lovely cool room and a lovely long nap.
Places to visit in Kuala Lumpur
Great places that put you and the family at ease…
Great for squidgy babies, toddlers and energetic explorers are:
Bukit Melawati & the monkeys
Deerland
A day trip out with a driver
Zoo Negara
Aquaria outside KLCC
Twin Towers with free wading pool outside.
Firefly Experience
Energetic explorers will enjoy the Firefly Experience, squidgy babies are probably too young and
find it all a bit hot, dark and sweaty!
Lake Gardens
Butterfly Garden, Bird Park & playground
Petrosians Science Centre
For much older children (quite a lengthy experience from one end to the other)
Major water parks and indoor adventure parks
Are in abundance here too, if its all a bit too hot.
Tiny Tip: Take snacks to Deerland, as there is no food apart from chips or ice blocks .
